Volunteer Center

of Brown County's

  Annual Golf Classic

Through the Oneida Nation, our main sponsor for the annual

Golf Classic, the Volunteer Center of Brown County is able to continue our mission of "creating a stronger community by engaging volunteers to support nonprofit partners." This year it will take place on July 15, 2020, at Thornberry Creek at Oneida.

Attended by over 130 golfers, this summertime event is not only fun, but it is one of the ways that the Volunteer Center

is able to help thousands of people in the Brown County area throughout the year. The Volunteer Center of Brown County

is so thankful to those who help improve the community and for the great relationship we have with the Oneida Nation.

Annual Community-Wide Volunteer Expo

A free afternoon of networking, conversation, and light snacks with a variety of Brown County’s nonprofit organizations where attendees can discover ways to help serve their community. In 2019, it took place on September 10 at the KI Center in downtown Green Bay. Over 300 attendees came to the KI and were able to meet with more than 70 nonprofit organizations who were just waiting to talk with them about how they can strengthen our community by volunteering! To learn more, click here.

Make A

Difference Day

A national day of service with a local impact!

Building a strong community through volunteerism is no easy feat, but through the help and assistance of the people in Brown County, we are accomplishing the goal!

Each year, hundreds of people join together and help senior citizens and people with disabilities in the area with seasonal tasks to prepare for the upcoming winter months. Teams of people come together to rake leaves, wash windows, clean gardens and put away yard furniture.
